ABSTRACT
Before any involvement with the procedure of structural restoration of a monument, it is advisable to present techniques and materials in use for structural restoration, since it is a prerequisite for the structural engineer in charge to be informed well and in depth on these issues, so that he can propose an intervention scheme complying on one side with restoration principles and on the other with the structural safety of the building.
