This chapter focuses on the human element; the most important attribute of project management because people perform the project, cause, prevent or mitigate problems and, take part in the processes that produce the products. Once the project has begun, project managers (PMs) spend most of their time dealing with people. The outcomes of these interactions with people affect the cost and the schedule and are reflected in the Gantt and EVA charts presented at the milestone reviews.
