ABSTRACT
Every patient ready for dermatologic surgery must be assessed prior to operation. Dermatologic surgery involves treating dermatological problems as well as cosmetic disfigurement. All have aesthetic value. Many patients undergoing such procedures are healthy and thus can be termed clients. The detailed consultation is essential to understand the real expectations of patients and to filter out those with unrealistic expectations. The importance of informed consent and the points relevant to radiofrequency surgery are of utmost significance.
