ABSTRACT
The history of forced labour on the territory of the German Reich indicates to what extent the German population was seduced by propaganda against “alien peoples” and “bad races”. Civilian society, thus destroyed, made possible a barbarism in Europe at the end of the Modern Age that remains unparalleled.
