ABSTRACT
Two reviews of the literature on behavior therapy (Bandura, 1961; Grossberg, 1964) reveal a large number of systematic attempts to apply principles of learning theory to psychotherapy. It would appear that many investigators, working within the conceptual frameworks of respondent and operant learning, have produced practical changes in the deviant behavior of both adults and children.
