ABSTRACT
The law in both copyright and data protection areas has been revised considerably since the publication of the last UK complete act on copyright: the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988. Copyright and data protection law is a rapidly growing and changing area of responsibility for the information worker. Electronic publication and dissemination of information has driven many of these changes.
