ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the relevance of the issue of whether propositions or representational states/vehicles are primary truth-bearers for debates about the nature of the concept of truth and the property it picks out. It presents recent debates on the nature of propositions, suggesting that issues concerning propositions are less fundamental than issues concerning the representational vehicles to which they are ascribed.
