ABSTRACT
As the international cybersecurity debate searches for new directions, more attention should be paid to regional approaches to cybersecurity. There has been a flurry of activity in Africa and Latin America over the past few years, resulting in a number of cybersecurity strategies, policies and legislation that demonstrate differing government attitudes towards security and human rights, both positive and negative.
