ABSTRACT
I a marvelous thing for the theatre of the whole world that Stanislavski should have taken the time to write what he calls his working text book. Over and over, as I read An Actor Prepares, I came to passages which expressed exactly the things that every actor must have felt but been unable to express, must have known subconsciously but never quite realized.
