Olympic Tics: The Architecture of Production and Consumption

Olympic athletes are regarded as much for their peculiar behavioral tics as they are for their physical skills. Can architecture also have tics? If so, they may be found in the hidden, behind-the-scenes production which makes Olympic events possible. The architecture in this project combines a stadium with a factory. While archery and beach volleyball are consumed, cardboard boxes are produced.
