ABSTRACT
Visual culture is rich with references to foreign policy. Imagery of the making and consequences of foreign policy are ubiquitous, whether in fine art, television news reporting of international conferences, photos of world leaders clad in “awkward Apec fashion” (Anonymous 2015), images of human beings in flight from conflict, or the backstories to videogames.
