ABSTRACT
As we worked collaboratively on our earlier book, Children of Divorce: Stories of Loss and Growth (Harvey & Fine, 2004), we conducted a thorough review of the divorce literature. To our surprise, we discovered that there was no single source that brought together into a single volume the wealth of information that the scholarly community has now gathered about divorce. This led to our decision to develop this handbook for researchers, graduate students, practitioners involved with divorce and relationship dissolution, and other interested constituencies.
