ABSTRACT

Since the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy in 1978, China has been changing rapidly. This development has comprehensively influenced and changed the values and daily life of the people, and has also renewed the education model and maturation experiences of children from generation to generation. On one hand, what society has achieved has gradually afforded an unprecedented social condition in terms of both material and spiritual life for our children. On the other hand, a bunch of social problems, brought by the transformation stage of social development, has impacted upon the everyday life of children, bringing them new survival and living problems. This situation pertains across the whole domain of school and family education.
