ABSTRACT
This chapter, however, looks at science as very much intertwined with social and political processes to the extent that these processes shape how science is portrayed to policy-makers. Crucially, it examines the taken-for-granted assumption that data assembled at the level of territorial states is the most appropriate mode of measurement for climate policy.
