ABSTRACT
How does diversity articulate with ethnicity and race?1 Where and what are the borders, and how are they delimited? Where does one start and the other stop? Are there overlapping spheres? This chapter attempts to address these questions, giving examples of the ways in which these terms are used in popular discourse, and offering some anthropological ideas about how to approach these questions.
