ABSTRACT
Our understanding of terrorists and extremists in prison is extremely limited. Given the scale of writing and research on terrorism over recent decades – the absolutely overwhelming flood of books and publications in the wake of 9/11 – it is surprising to then see how little has focused on prison issues.
