ABSTRACT
Context Portland’s River District is a new mixed use neighbourhood built on a 50 acre (20 hectares) brownfield site north of the Central Business District (CBD). It is more commonly referred to as part of The Pearl District, which includes warehouses to the west and a mixed use area extending south to Burnside Street.
