ABSTRACT
Most people would appreciate how difficult it can be to make a living as an artist, but for nearly 30 years James Cattell and I have managed to do that – one way or another. In 1988, we formed the partnership Honeyweather & Speight to produce artworks for the design industry, combining James’s skills as an artist with mine as a former teacher, interior designer and retailer. Over this time we seem to have developed a specialty in children’s playgrounds and would like to present some of our personal experience and observations here.
