ABSTRACT
Asia is globally perceived as the growth center of the world in the first half of the 21st century because of its rapid economic progress and various political transformations. In Asian countries, drastic changes in the socio-economic situation are also bringing about changes in education. Active educational reform is being promoted in many countries and areas in varying ways depending on the respective local context.
