Technology has advanced to such an extent that we all carry portable gadgets and devices that have become integral to our work and social lives (Topol 2013). Smartphones and tablets are used daily to work on-the-go, to catch-up with friends and family wherever we may be, and to keep up to date with the latest news and trends (Ofcom 2015a). Smart technology is also used to monitor various aspects of our lives, including those related to our health and wellbeing.
