Ah, the exclamation marks!!! This sermon is obviously laugh-out-loud mockery. Yet it goes to the heart of the country’s debate on linguistic purity. Those self-appointed to police the way we use the nation’s language are descendants from immigrants and employ it, in private as well as in public, in ways they see fit.
