ABSTRACT
People speak of actors’ creativity . . . Where does it lie, if their words are already predetermined? With the current “strict” directorial concept, everything is prescribed by a despotic director – makeup, costumes, the pattern of the role, as well as blockings and even intonations(!). It’s all been fixed and approved. Any permissive interpretation means trouble for the actor.
