ABSTRACT
New religious movements do not limit themselves to innovative theologies and rituals, but often experiment with non-traditional forms of social organization as well. Thus it is that some organize their members into intentional communities, creating a lifestyle that tends to promote deep commitment and complete immersion in the group.
