ABSTRACT
Coleridge, Biographia Literaria (1817); Monthly Review, 2nd Series, LXXXVIII (Feb. 1819), 124–138. Coleridge’s Biographia seemed to make him new enemies wherever it went. Here the reviewer, apparently the same who began by defending him in the previous review, writes this notice in a tone of ill-controlled disgust toward Coleridge as well as Wordsworth.
