ABSTRACT
This section has questioned the view that the diffusion of proven environmentally beneficial technologies and construction techniques is simply a technical challenge. In different ways each of the chapters has argued that in order to assess the changing opportunities for design actors to put their already existing knowledge into practice, we must deepen our understanding of the competing social and technical logic governing development processes.
