ABSTRACT
California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) is one of a few universities in the nation that is a Hispanic-Serving Institution and an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution. Over 70% of the university’s 24,400 students are first generation to college and over 60% receive federal Pell Grants.
