ABSTRACT
Water is indispensable for human survival. Its scarcity had begun to be felt during the middle of the last century and the warning bells are ringing louder now. Accessible freshwater is 0.1% of the total freshwater and 0.003% of the total of all water on the planet (Golay, 2009).
