Employment is one of the most effective factors of socialisation and normal participation in the life of the community. For people with disabilities, the importance of access to the labour market is even more important than for those who are not disabled since employment brings with it the advantages of social inclusion. Not having a job makes it very difficult to live an independent life and make one's own decisions. Jobless and disabled people find themselves in a situation of dependence, caught between their families and the authorities, and in permanent danger of marginalisation and social exclusion.
