ABSTRACT

The World Trade Organization (WTO) is an international organization specializing in the handling of multilateral trade relations on the basis of reciprocity and mutual benefit. All the protocols and agreements of the WTO have been signed by its members on the basis of negotiation. On the one hand these protocols and agreements restrict the policy behavior of the governments of its member countries and on the other hand they standardize the commercial behavior of product manufacturers, service providers, and importers and exporters. For this reason, our analysis of the influences on China from its participation in the WTO will be made at two levels: the government level and the enterprise level.
