The development of management theory involves the development of concepts, techniques and managerial skills. The literature on business administration reveals a widely recognised need for the development of management skills as the most appropriate approach to business administration education and development (Mintzberg, 1975; Koontz and O'Donnel, 1976; Peters and Waterman, 1982; Whetten and Cameron, 1984; Jaeger, 1990; Morden, 1993; Sloman, 1994; Armstrong, 1997; Dyson and O'Brien, 1998; Analoui, 1993, 1996, 1999; Hosseini, 1999).
