ABSTRACT

'Police make a woman suffer for her innocence. Around midnight my friend and her uncle were stopped by two police while driving along the Nazimuddin Road. They asked for the car's papers and ordered the occupants out, saying they had committed a crime. My uncle reasoned that he should be allowed to drop his niece home and he would return, but the policemen refused and blocked the car. The rifle toting police asked a number of questions, told the people they were lying and demanded that the woman accompany him to the police station, threatening the girl with his rifle.'
