ABSTRACT

The place of the individual is starting to attract greater attention in the coopetition research field, particularly in studies addressing the paradox dimension. This chapter evaluates the possibilities inherent in the deeper incorporation of the sensemaking perspective in the field. Paying greater attention to the interplay of discourse and emotion at the individual and collective levels, and analyzing the subsequent link to coping with the coopetition paradox, has the potential to contribute a deeper understanding of the shared creation of coopetition frames.
