In this chapter, we describe the story of 15 young Bedouin women who were admitted to a special programme called the Window to the Academy at the Department of Education of the Ben-Gurion University in Israel. This programme aimed to address the specific needs of Bedouin students who fail to meet the entrance requirements of the Department of Education. The programme provided these students with a framework in which they received support not only to cross the admission border, but also to succeed and graduate.
