ABSTRACT

Naomi Weisstein has vigorously applied psychophysical measurements, such as differential adaptation or masking, to the investigation of higher-order perceptual processes including surface completion (Weisstein, 1970, 1973), three-dimensional object perception (Weisstein & Harris,1974), and figure-ground organization (Klymenko & Weisstein, 1986; Weisstein & Wong, 1986).
