ABSTRACT
Patients with ambiguous genitalia mostly present in the newborn period requiring a multidisciplinary team, which includes a pediatric surgeon/urologist to assign the sex of rearing as soon as possible after a thorough genetic, anatomic, functional, and socioeconomic workup.
