ABSTRACT

It is by now clear that the global economy must inevitably marginalize and render largely destitute a very large section of the population of both the industrial world and the so-called developing countries. For this reason alone, everything must be done to fight any new versions of the multilateral agreement on investment and to prevent the further implementation of the NAFTA, Maastricht, GATT and other agreements that are now under the aegis of the WTO and that are designed to advance the globalization of the world’s economy.
