ABSTRACT
In this seventh edition since 1992 we have decided to change the title from the Green Globe Yearbook to the Yearbook of International Cooperation on Environment and Development. The heading is new, but the basic questions are the same: Is the world making any progress towards sustainable development? What has been achieved through international collaboration? Which barriers remain?
