ABSTRACT
The previous chapter analyzed the dimensions and elements of the mentor’s role. In this chapter we explore how mentors implemented their role in terms of the strategies they developed, the skills they applied, and the qualities they displayed. Since our purpose is to clarify the nature of mentoring strategies, skills and qualities, we have not attempted to make comparisons between mentors, except where comparison would help understanding.
