ABSTRACT

I want to introduce you to four women, Wambui Otieno, who lives in Kenya, Holalia Pastory in Tanzania, Molly Muchabaiwa in Zimbabwe and Unity Dow in Botswana. The first wanted to bury her husband, the second to sell her land, the third's father wanted compensation for her seduction and the fourth wanted her children to be Botswanan citizens. These desires all aroused great public controversy.
