ABSTRACT
I discussed elsewhere (Qin 2019) two types of multilateralism for cooperation and coordination in international and transnational governance: institutional multilateralism and relational multilateralism. Two passages, by Robert Keohane and by Kishore Mahbubani and Jeffery Sng, reflect in large measure how these approaches actually function.
