ABSTRACT

On completion of the project the client company challenged me to apply the Integrated Experiential Coaching Model to team coaching. The organization wanted more people to experience the benefits and improved performance achieved by individuals who had participated in the programme. A second reason was purely economical: individual coaching was expensive, and they wanted to reap economies of scale. This model of coaching has subsequently been adopted by a major banking group in South Africa, and is being refined all the time. The application of coaching to teams moves the emphasis of the Model to the lower-right quadrant.
