ABSTRACT
This chapter is a timely reminder of the usefulness of two ideas, the reflection process and the supervisory triangle, ideas first introduced by Mattinson (1975) and subsequently developed in TCCR’s continuing teaching and writing about supervision. Hughes and Olney clearly lay out the concepts and their application to supervisory practice. At the same time they draw our attention to the current organisational context of health and welfare agencies.
