ABSTRACT

11All of the work described in this book is carried out by clinical psychologists in systemically complex and challenging mental health inpatient settings. For clinical psychologists working in these settings, systemic work through multiple modes and levels of interventions forms a crucial and integral part of their practice. This dimension of their work provides psychologists with some of the most unique and challenging aspects of their practice there. Thus, this first and opening part of the book focuses on the systemic level of clinical psychologists’ involvement and interventions in mental health inpatient settings.
