ABSTRACT

The Silk Road is an oriental, an inspiring and a historic icon which inspired the more institutional One Belt, One Road; and now the acronym, as the institution mature, of the BRI (the Belt and Road Initiative)—the Chinese ambitious program of utmost importance for Central Asia, Caucasus, Black and Caspian Seas, the Mediterranean bordering countries but also the whole European Union and the Central-Eastern-Baltic part in particular, in the frame of a millenarian background of the relations between Europe and Asia.
