ABSTRACT

The following reflections have been prompted by reading Aristotle, but also by reading Abraham Edel’s original and enlightening book, Aristotle and his Philosophy. To have produced an original work on Aristotle is itself a notable achievement when one considers the vast literature that has accumulated on the subject even in our own time. Edel’s book has the further distinction of being novel and imaginative in its method of organizing and articulating Aristotle’s philosophy.
