Toward an Evaluation of the NGO Experience in Chile: Implications for Social Policy and Future Investigation

In order to analyze the experience of the NGOs and understand the conditions necessary for that experience to serve as the basis for social policies directed toward the problems of poor children in Chile, we will first characterize these organizations and then objectively consider the nature, scale, and significance of the impact of their activities. We begin by highlighting the characteristics common to the preceding case studies.
