ABSTRACT
"The papers included in this volume are a contribution to the continuing nature/nurture controversy. They represent in part the record of a symposium entitled "Biology, Culture and Human Evolution" held at the 1979 annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Houston, Texas. Since the time of their presentation, the papers have undergone substantial revision, and have been augmented with others so that a change of title seared appropriate.
