ABSTRACT
Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG) (or Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana) is one of the important agencies in the public sector of Venezuela, concerned with regional development and as a holding complex. It has also been the base for the emergence of public enterprises in the field of basic industry in the rich and yet unexploited region of Guyana, which represents about 50% of the Venezuelan territory.
