ABSTRACT

The aim of this chapter is to review the role of the Internet, Internet-related communication tools (e.g., email, video conferencing) and eHealth technology (e.g., apps, practice management programs) in mental health service delivery for individuals living with a gastrointestinal (GI) condition. Practical strategies to help GI patients and their mental health providers better identify and utilise Internet resources in relation to the management of their psychological and physical well-being are provided.
