Chancellor, Americans, as I guess you know, often see a contradiction in Europe. When there is perceived to be a weak American president, you cry out for American leadership. When there is a strong American president, Europeans seem to complain that they are being pushed around. Can you be specific—exactly what kind of man do you want to see in the White House?
